There is lots of information about taking Rick Simpson Oil to get better, but there is little mentioned about what to do after to maintain your health. Here we will discuss maintenance doses of Rick Simpson Oil to ensure that you don’t just get better, that you stay better! We have recently covered Dosage Information and Taking Cannabis via Ingestion, lets look at the maintenance dosage for Rick Simpson Oil.

At the end of the treatment, most people continue to take the oil, but at a very low dosage. About 1 or 2 grams per month would be a good maintenance dose, just a drop or two in the evening before bedtime is all that is generally required to maintain good health.

I am often asked if this oil should be taken with food, but from my experience it seems to make little difference, so I will let the patient decide for himself. I feel that in most cases there is little need for someone to take excessive amounts of the oil, unless they actually have a life-threatening condition like stage 4 cancer, which is endangering their life and they want to put this disease under control more quickly.

Even in cases like this, it is usually not necessary to take excessive doses, but if you choose to do it, then I really have no problem taking excess oil. Since in fact, unlike many pharmaceutical drugs that our medical systems supply, an overdose of cannabis oil doesn’t really do any harm and can’t cause your death.

The main side effect of this drug is sleep and rest, which plays a very important role in the healing process. Usually, within an hour of taking the dose, the oil tells you to lie down and relax. Do not try to combat the sleepy effects of oils, just lie down and get comfortable, then allow the oil to give you the rest and relaxation necessary to heal properly. The effects of the oil can make the mind wander a bit and often patients are quite unstable when they start using this drug. But as the patient develops his tolerance, these effects will rapidly decrease. Usually within 3-4 weeks, the daytime fatigue associated with this treatment after the patient has taken their dosage vanishes, but the patient continues to sleep very well at night.

I also suggest patients not to try to drive their cars until they become more accustomed to the effects of oils, after which they can drive safely again. Once you are used to the effects of oils it does not compromise your ability to drive in any way, because unlike alcohol and many pharmaceutical products, this oil does not compromise your fine motor skills.
